Requirements:
- 3+ years of Android development
- Experience building apps with Support Library, Play Services, and Design Library
- Experience developing custom user interface controls and advising clients on key user experience decisions
- Experience with real-time communication protocols
- Experience with social media integration
- Strong Java background
- Agile/ Scrum experience
- Android: very good knowledge of the Android framework (all versions since API 10) and tools
- Java, OOP and design patterns
- RESTful webservices
- Gradle
- Unit Tests / Junit (both in standard Java and Android)
- Git / Gitflow
- Keen understanding of Agile
- Mentoring skills, knowledge sharing attitude
- Team player, “coding is not my only responsibility” attitude
- Flexible, energetic, willing to improve (the team as well as himself)
- Level of English - knowledge should be not less than Upper Intermediate
Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
- Help improve code quality through writing unit tests, performing code reviews and tech talks
- Integrate with internal and third party APIs
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
