Ensuring that all IT infrastructure, processes, tools, roles etc. are appropriate for the agreed availability targets final delivery of the service implementation, as part of a team of Delivery Managers.
Responsible for defining, analysing, planning, measuring and improving all aspects of the availability of IT services.
Responsible for ensuring that all software platforms, processes, tools, roles etc. are appropriate for the agreed service level targets for availability. Ensuring that support SLAs, OLAs and UIC are strictly adhered to.
Optimizing availability of IT infrastructure, systems, and services to meet SLAs/OLSs in a cost-effective manner.
Facilitating bridging the gaps between delivery teams.
Drive rapid recovery during incidents.
Providing a holistic view of IT environment and make recommendations to improve overall service.
Accountable for deployment of the Availability Management methods and techniques, including their regular reviews and audits.
Determining availability requirements from the business for new or enhanced IT Services.
Updating availability strategy and recovery design criteria to be applied to new or enhanced infrastructure design. Define the targets of Availability required for the IT Infrastructure and its components taking SLA agreements as the basis. Produce and maintain Availability Plans.
Establishing regular reporting around availability of the IT infrastructure, monitor actual IT availability achieved vs targets and to ensure shortfalls are addressed.
Promoting Availability Management awareness and understanding within the IT support organization
Management of archiving and updating operational documentation and procedures for services, applications and processes.
3-5 years of experience as team member or team lead in IT Service Organization, working with Availability or Capacity Management processes and correlating ITIL processes, including specifying, designing, and implementing deployment strategies for scaled IT infrastructures.
Strong sense of ownership of IT services quality, and customer orientation, ability to proactively follow up on customer issues.
Strong ITSM processes orientation.
Experience in working within financial sector is a plus, but not a pre-requisite.
Excellent communication skills in English – listening, verbal and written – including meeting management and facilitation.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills.
Solid communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred candidates with IPMA, Prince 2 or PMI certifications, ITIL certification.
BA / BS in Computer Science / Information Systems or equivalent experience
Experience working as an IT Project Manager is not mandatory but preferred.
