Present in the market for over 30 years in the UK and Western European and in the last 8 years in Central Europe from its manufacturing facility in Poznan, Plastique has built an enviable reputation for providing innovative packaging solutions for a variety of market sectors.
The company wishes to expand its sales activities in Poland and Central Europe and as a result is seeking the appointment of a Business Development Manager. You will report to the New Business Development Director and will be responsible for the identification and securing of new business in the CEE region with focus on the Polish market.
- In liaison with the New Business Development Director and the marketing team identifying key market opportunities in Poland and the CEE that will deliver the new business target, - Understanding and fulfilling key client requirements across a number of market sectors that would include personal care, cosmetics and toiletries. pharmaceuticals, electronics and food, - Development of those opportunities to secure the business through innovative packaging solutions in liaison with the UK based design team. Contract preparation and negotiation and project management, - To advise senior management of any significant market changes, strategic implications in regard to supply in the region, - Monitoring of projects and providing concise reports in respect of current and future sales opportunities.
- Whilst specific sector experience is not a pre-requisite you will possess a proven personal track record of strategic business development within a conceptual and design based solution led sales process, - Results orientated and with a strong will to win. You will be an effective communicator, commercially aware, with excellent presentation skills, - You will be tenacious yet well-structured in your approach and have a can do attitude, - Flexibility to travel extensively, - Passionate approach with a natural energy, - College degree in marketing or other business discipline, - Fluent in oral and written English and Polish. Knowledge of the German language would be an added benefit.
