alypso Integration and/or Migration area:
- Migration of trades from legacy system into Calypso
- Integrating various internal systems with Calypso
Consulting and management:
- Requirements gathering
- Validation workshops for IT and business users
- Advising on Calypso best practices
- Designing and executing Unit testing, SIT and UAT
- Training users and Calypso support teams
- Documentation of functional requirements
Development:
- Calypso API development including Scheduled Tasks, Workflow rules, Engines, Reports and custom user interfaces etc.
- Implementation of Calypso out of box modules such as ERS, Limits
- Integration with third party applications such as Reuters, Bloomberg etc.
- Build and automated testing management
- Functional and Non-functional testing
- Deep knowledge of Calypso database
- Performance Tuning
- Sybase/Oracle SQL scripting
Unix skills (navigation, file manipulation, troubleshooting, basic shell scripting)
Experience of training others is a plus
- Experience of leading a team is a plus
- • University degree in Computer Science, Computer engineering or engineering
- 3 years technical experience (general) plus 18 months+ Calypso experience
- Knowledge of financial products
- Fluent English
- Ability to explain technical concepts to those that are non-technical
