Job description
The role of Commercial Management Consultant is to advice the bid team of potential pricing & financing mechanisms that could help win the deal. We are responsible for preparing pricing to potential external clients in close cooperation with sales executives, legal departments and solution teams. We are based in Krakow and Wroclaw offices, however from time to time we participate in meetings with bid teams that are placed in Capgemini offices across Europe, and on client’s locations.
Main accountabilities
- Reading contracts and commercial documents and spotting potential contractual risks to Capgemini
- Planning mitigation actions on those risks in close cooperation with other members of bid teams
- Finding best solutions to arising issues and providing financial guideline where needed so that Capgemini can win new deals
- Participating in deal review process, understanding the financials and explaining financial complexities to approvers
- Fill in pricing template in line with what management approved during previous reviewsÂ
- Providing aid in the development of junior commercial team members and contributing to knowledge sharing, training delivery etc.
Requirements
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English is a must
- Good written and spoken French (minimum B2 level) would be a great asset
- Minimum 4 years of experience in business controlling
- Very good analytical skills are required
- Good understanding of general financial aspects like revenue recognition, cash flow, P&L components etc
- Experience in financial positions e.g project controlling, financial analysis or business analysis
- Previous experience with contracts would be an asset. Understanding of contractual wording is required
- Can-do attitude and problem solving approach is required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in dynamic environment
- Detail oriented
- Team player with flexible attitude and the ability to work largely on own initiative
- High degree of comfort working in virtual, cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams
Candidate’s profile
- Experienced in financial positions e.g project controlling, financial analysis or business analysis
- Good understanding of general financial aspects like revenue recognition, cash flow, P&L components etc
- Previous experience with contracts would be an asset. Understanding of contractual wording is required
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint and especially Excel
- Experience of client facing negotiations would be an asset
- Understanding of the IT industry would be an asset
- Must be able and willing to travel internationally in case needed
