Purpose of the role:
Manage the provision of robust and meaningful analytical output and value driver measurements that inform business direction and good decision making at a group and corporate and OpCo management team level, including business-wide programmes and investments
Grow and maintain good working relationships with OpCo and Group business partners in corporate finance teams, becoming a trusted and valued service provider
Contribute insight and understanding of performance to finance business partners and their business counterparts, so as to guide regular performance management cycles, including regular finance performance reviews and planning
Drive continuous improvement of analytics and business insights ensuring SLAs are met, governance is in place and the quality of service is assured
Accountabilities:
• Develop, implement and embed a high quality analytics framework for the group that supports and informs business direction and decisions
• Manage the relationship with OpCo Corporate Finance Business Partners, ensuring that requirement and for analytics support for large scale strategic projects are clearly understood, expectations are managed and SLAs are met within the overall GBS service delivery framework
• Maintain oversight of analysis of performance across the group, actively seeking out areas and opportunities where analytics support will enhance risk and opportunity management, revenue management and cost reductions
• Encourage a continuous improvement focus in the team
• Manage the provision and consolidation of business insights for large scale initiatives within the DS teams, directing individuals to create high quality management information and business cases
• Constructively challenge analytics processes and methodologies, recommending changes that enhance and constantly improve the quality of output
• Develop, implement and embed the process for external benchmarking and competitor analysis to support the business and drive new opportunities in cost effective ways
• Develop an enhanced approach to financial performance reviews; ensure commentary is relevant, insightful and accurate, with risks and opportunities identified and solutions offered
• Work with Group and OpCo finance investment teams to deliver a quality service, including managing elements of the investment appraisal, business case and project assessment process where modelling and analytics is of value
• Work with Group and OpCo planning teams to deliver consolidated analysis of performance or scenario modelling in support of planning, budgeting and forecasting for the business
• Develop appropriate networks and make use of ways to maintain industry awareness and through understanding of Group and OpCo strategies
• Manage the team, focusing on development to build high performance

Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications:
• Full professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or MBA considered.
Skills:
• Excellent people manager with ability to inspire, lead, build and deliver through high performance teams
• Ability to influence, align diverse views and gain consensus, providing clarity and direction on what is to be achieved and break down barriers that get in way of effective team working.
• Excellent sponsorship and stakeholder management skills across a diverse geographic region and at multiple levels, with the gravitas to engage with and influence senior stakeholders
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and analytical/strategic skills
• Business / Finance accumen
• Ability to prioritise, maintain clear focus and provide direction in constant ambiguity and change
• A strong customer focus, committed to exceeding customer expectations and continuous improvement
• Ability to manage people and projects in a fast-paced global environment with tight deadlines, finite resources and conflicting priorities
• Excellent English language skills
• Working knowledge of Spanish is an asset
Experience:
• 3-5 years post-qualification relevant experience in a centralised Management Information environment in an international company
• Project accounting experience on large scale multi-disciplinary projects
• Experience working in an environment of change involving people, process, policy and technology.
• Experience managing large scale finance transformation projects in a fast-paced, complex global organisation with finite resources
• Experience managing teams in a global, matrix environment
