In regard to further development of one of our Clients we are currently seeking Candidates for a position of:
- Convert software requirements into workable programming code and maintain and develop programs for use in business, writing specifications and designing, building, testing, implementing and sometimes supporting applications; applications are usually developed on Microsoft Applications,in particular MS Access, MS Excel and SharePoint.
- Develop processes and scripts for extracting and performing transformations with data.
- Create dashboards that allow deep interactive analysis and visualization of business metrics.
- Assist in the development, automation and maintenance of a suite of reports for stakeholders
Activities typically includes:
- establishing a detailed program specification through discussion with internal and external clients;
- clarifying what actions the program is intended to perform;
- breaking down program specification into its simplest elements and translating this logic into a programming language;
- devising possible solutions to anticipated problems;
- working as part of a team, which may be established purely for a particular project, to write a specific section of the program;
- combining all elements of the program design and testing it;
- testing sample data-sets to check that output from the program works as intended;
- conducting testing and installing the program into production;
- reacting to problems and correcting the program as necessary;
- evaluating and increasing the program’s effectiveness;
- adapting the program to new requirements, as necessary;
- conducting user acceptance testing to ensure the program can be used easily, quickly and accurately;
- writing detailed documentation for the operation of the program by users;
- updating, repairing,modifying and developing existing applications.
- MS Excel: excellent knowledge required;
- VBA for MS Excel: excellent knowledge required;
- Preferably F&A exposure (PTP, OTC, RTR);
- Strong testing background to ensure all requirements are fulfilled;
- MS Access: good/excellent knowledge required including design and construct databases;
- VBA for MS Access: good/excellent knowledge required;
- Comfortable with importing/exporting data to/from various applications;
- Understanding of Relational DB design and implementation; ability to build SQL queries;
- Strong analytical and design skills including ability to extract requirements and recommend innovative; solutions;
- Strong communication skills to be able to articulate technical designs and process to non-technology users;
- Must be proactive and own tasks delegated to drive results;
Special Role Requirements
Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent
Fluency in English with strong verbal andwriting skills – B2 language level required
Experience in BPO or relevant industrypreferred
SAP Knowledge and/or other ERP's is a plus
Experience in developand maintain SharePoint Lists with advanced customization utilizing InfoPath,SharePoint Designer, HTML and JavaScript is a plus
