Accenture Operations is one of Accenture key capabilities dedicated to work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, helpdesk services, and HR. - Installation, configuration and administration of Windows Server operating systems (2008 and 2012)
- Installation and configuration of VMware operating systems
- Troubleshoot complex issues on the above mentioned operating systems
- Installation of related patches and updates to server infrastructures
- Participate on preparation and evaluation of technical design for new projects and its possible improvements
- Review and propose recommendations for to promote effective utilization of the server resources and thus limiting possible server issues
- Participate in backup and restore administration tasks – including active participation in Business Continuity Management activities
- Ensure all required security requirements are pushed to the needed servers and security related guidelines are strictly observed during the whole management process of the server infrastructures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT engineering or a related field
- Trainings & certifications in system administration areas (e.g. Microsoft server Operating Systems, Database Management, ITIL, VMware) will be a definite advantage
- Very good English skills
- Practical knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (2008 and 2012)
- Experience in scripting (e.g. Power Shell, Power CLI) will be an advantage
- Knowledge of at least two of the following server technologies:
- Microsoft System Center Suite (SCCM, SCOM and SCO),
- Database Management (e.g. SQL),
- Backup and Recovery service,
- Web filtering service, replication service (e.g. DFS),
- Web service, authentication and certification service
- Understanding virtualized solutions on VMware and Hyper-V
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS services, DHCP services
- Team player and ability to work with international & cross-cultural teams
- The ability to use your knowledge of foreign language on a daily basis at work (we serve our Clients in almost 30 foreign languages)
- Experience with a range of Clients and technology solutions which provides professional relevance
