In 2006, we opened a second center in Katowice and in 2012 a third center in Opole. Today, our team of 2,000 professionals delivers IT outsourcing services to 40 clients in 20 languages.
Position purpose
We are currently looking for experienced professionals to work within a team which is responsible for supporting IT infrastructure and high availability application environment for one of largest company on European market.
Current infrastructure is built on high end enterprise solutions and hosted in largest data centers in Europe.
Main accountabilities
- Database Consulting (Oracle DB, MySQL, MSSQL)
- Planning the new Database environments
- Planning the Major Changes and Maintenance Windows (e.g. Database Upgrade with minimal disruption)
- Database performance analysis
- Database Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis
- Interfacing between the client and Database support teams
- Creating the Proof of Concepts
Requirements
Essential:
- Fluent German
- Experience in Data Center environment
- Experience with Oracle & MySQL Databases
- Knowledge/experience in DGUARD, RAC and Cluster environments
- Basic OS knowledge (Solaris, Linux, Windows)
Nice to have:
- Knowledge/experience in MSSQL, SolidDB, MaxDB is a plus
