Main responsibilities and requirements will include:
- Manage test environments (application and servers)
- Create/maintain application builds
- Create/maintain MS builds and the for application testing
- Manage/Configure TeamCity
- Configure/Setup test and production servers
- Change management
- Create/maintain deployment scripts
- Coordinate/manage releases to test and production environments
- Application support in production and test environments
- Extend build process to support gathering and reporting of metrics related to: testing (i.e. NUnit), code analysis, code coverage, etc.
- Assess and help to manage deployment risk.
- Inform stakeholders of changes.
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and the activities involved in each stage
- At least 3 years of experience as Configuration Management Engineer or Windows Administrator with writing scripts/configure CI environments experience.
- Working in AGILE environment together with developers and QAs
Technical skills:
- Very good knowledge about configuration/management/usage of following tools/technologies:
- TeamCity
- Powershell
- IIS
- Subversion
- MSBuild
- Visual Studio 2015
- Sql Server 2008 R2
- C# (basic skills)
- Windows Server (2008 and newer)
Soft skills:
- Possess excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills; Good level of spoken and written English (including business and financial terms)
- Ability to drive discussions between stakeholders and arrive at agreement on what should be done
- Self-motivated and driven attitude. Ready to learn new things and do whatever is necessary to "get the job done" attitude
- Solid attention to detail and ability to find gaps
- Ability to assess alternate options for a specific problem
- Not hesitant to ask questions and reach out to people to clarify things
