Requirements:
- 3-5 years’ experience managing email and direct marketing communications, creating and launching email campaigns
- Advanced knowledge of email marketing, including the use of marketing automation, personalisation, dynamic content and triggered email
- Proven experience in crafting email and direct marketing campaigns that convert at above industry levels
- Strong analytical skills, demonstrable data-driven approach and understanding
- Life cycle marketing development
- Engagement scoring and lead signalling programme development
- Experience creating and sending large-scale email campaigns
- Familiarity with CRM and database management e.g. Salesforce.com
- Experience with A/B testing
- Excellent project management skills, used to managing several projects concurrently, within a fluctuating and demanding workload
- Fundamental understanding of good email design, digital channels and tactics
- Demonstrable experience of creating email experiences for specific segments and setting KPIs based on objectives
- Experience of creating and implementing process and production workflows
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in email and measurement
- Equally comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Outstanding editorial, written and communication skills
- Understanding of marketing automation and workflow management systems
- Proficiency of email solutions (ExactTarget, and Movable Ink or similar)
- Proficiency of web analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Omniture, Google Analytics)
- Proficiency using social listening tools and platforms (e.g. Radian 6)
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS
- Microsoft Office Suite
Responsibilities:
- Build a 1-2-1 email/direct mail strategy for different client segments globally, working with the CRM team/. Identify, target and build database of mailing lists using SalesForce, Exact Target and Movable Ink
- Build best practice, infrastructure and processes for email management and share this knowledge with the Boston Ivy marketing community
- Contribute to the search and selection for a campaign automation/email marketing tool and project manage the implementation globally
- Ownership of all email execution, planning and improvements
- Manage external production and tool agency relationships where relevant
- In partnership with the Marketing and Communications Manager devise campaigns that lead to the qualification of prospects to leads (B2C and B2C)
- Track and monitor past and current campaign performance and behaviour to recommend strategies and campaigns that will increase loyalty and engagement
- Continuously optimise email and direct mail success taking a data-driven approach, developing email and direct marketing strategies that engage prospects and clients
- Create life cycle marketing roadmap, from nurture through to advocacy
- Develop test and learn plans for optimising targeting, creative and marketing messages
- Set and deliver on tangible content and campaign goals i.e. referrals, ROI, engagement (via Idio)
