You will provide client infrastructure and software support to IP facilities throughout the region. You are capable of handling any routine to highly technical problem and provide second tier support to end-users for Workstations, Servers, RF equipment, Printers, and other network attached devices. You will trouble shoot LAN problems, assists in configuring and troubleshooting data, voice, and video systems.
Under general supervision acts as liaison with Information Technology second level support groups, facility management and vendors. In addition this role will participate in the planning, design, and implementation of data communication infrastructure using IT standards and direction from the business.
There is an opportunity to be engaged in to the Windows client OS image development, test and integration.

Reports and works with a regional manager and assigned team lead to design the facility’s workstation and LAN infrastructure using IT standards and business direction.May work with facility manager or site contact to set priorities

Requires day-to-day management and break/fix work of workstations, servers, RF devices, printers, and other network attached devices and LAN for all assigned facilities

In a large facility or facility complex this role may be required to support at least 300 workstations and other standard supported devices.

Perform assigned tasks for installation and configuration of standard devices as part of our refresh lifecycle management programs for Workstations, Printers, RF, Servers and Network Switches and Access Points as programs are phased in

Perform assigned project tasks or set of actions for completion of project or process activity or activities within defined timelines.
Includes but not limited to installation, configuration, and/or moves of supported standard devices or implementation of a process -
May perform as the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) for local projects that may require engagement or work to be performed by more than 3 ITSS groups.Would determine work to be performed, engage all participants in the work effort, assign tasks and follow up to complete of project deliverables.

Maintain documentation for the facility, including inventory, ticket tracking, backup and disaster recovery plan, time tracking, and assigned project work.

Member of On-Call or shift rotation and may require travel between supported sites and facilities

Acts as a liaison into Information Technology second and third level support groups to assist in expediting the support process

May manage vendor warranty and break/fix work.May assist in the desktop/server/LAN procurement process

May engaged in to the Windows client OS image development, test and integration.

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or equivalent
-
5+ years of related Information Systems experience
-
MCDST (Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) credentials preferred

MS Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (Windows ADK)

MS Powershell , VirtualBox & MDT are an asset
