We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Level 2 Technical Support Engineer who will join our Service Operations Team located at Skelia office in the heart of Kraków.
As a Level 2 Technical Support Engineer (Systems Administrator), you will ensure the Operational IT infrastructure is maintained at the highest standards. You will work with your IT colleagues and manufacturers on the development and revision of the IT system support strategies in order to ensure our SLA and system availability targets are met, and our Service Performance is brought to a higher level.

Monitoring and maintenance of IT Infrastructure

Setting up and improving automatic monitoring systems

Second line support for IT infrastructure issues (servers, network, storage etc.)

Troubleshooting and resolving incidents, problems, service requests in IT Operations
-
Collaborating with 3rd line support
-
Providing remote support in case of escalations when on duty call
-
Liaising with other teams in Belgium
-
Assisting in implementing new systems, projects or applications
-
Creating and documenting procedures, documentation etc.

Train and brief the team members on new tactics, solutions for problems or procedures

Work with the Site Manager to enhance problem management

Assisting the Site Manager in his duties in case of his absence or when necessary
Technical Skills
-
Knowledge of Windows Server (2008R2, 2012) and MS services (AD, ADFS, PKI, GPM)

Knowledge of networking, layers (TCP/IP, VPN), firewalls and routers
-
Knowledge of SAN storage, data backup
-
Understanding and managing of: DNS, DHCP, Failover Cluster managing, MS SQL Server, Group policies

Familiarized with technologies and solutions: SharePoint, Exchange and MS System Center 2012 Suite (SCVMM, SCOM, SCCM)

Virtualization: VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix, Load Balancers etc.

Knowledge of PowerShell scripting or other scripting language is a plus

Knowledge of Linux, Oracle is an asset
