Currently, for our client, a global production company that has recently launched its Shared Service Centre in Warsaw, we are urgently seeking candidates for the position of SAP Compliance Specialist – Dangerous Goods & Compliance Controls.

As SAP Compliance Specialist you will be a part of a multinational global team dedicated to designing and managing implementation projects for new or modified SAP functionalities in different areas connected with products offered by our client: dangerous goods/substance volume tracking& REACH/ product labels/ SDS template & delivery systems/ property tree & regulatory data. The successful Candidate will be dedicated to Dangerous Goods & Compliance Controls.

Main responsibilities on this role will include: managing SAP Dangerous Goods transportation regulations & Compliance Controls for a broad range of global regulations; managing implementation projects for SAP functionality for Hazard Communication, including deployments in multiple countries (e.g. EU, Brazil, US) to support GSH compliance and establishing regulatory knowledge and expertise in dangerous goods requirements globally (interpreting legislation into business processes and systems functionalities).

We are looking for candidates with Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry/ Environmental Science/ Toxicology or other science-based field; min. 5 years of experience in project management/ change leadership environment and min. 5 years of experience in interpreting product regulatory requirements for dangerous goods. The ideal candidate has also broad knowledge of Global Chemical Inventories (TSCA/ DSL/ ENCS etc.), Right-to-Know controlled chemicals and registration requirements (e.g. REACH). Perfect knowledge of defining system requirements/ designing custom solutions in SAP EHS Product Safety and Dangerous Goods and good command of MS Excel/ MS Access are also required; as well as fluency in English.
