We are currently seeking a full-time software engineer to engage in all phases of new product introduction, including: concept, hardware and software architecture, design, prototype development and test, and manufacturing introduction. If you have experience in design and implementation of security in embedded systems, this is the exciting opportunity you have been looking for!
- Strong understanding of embedded systems / software
- Experience in design, plan and delivery of an embedded product/platform that spans both hardware and software
10+ years of experience in designing and shipping software for embedded products with at least five years in a leadership role. Experience should encompass requirements analysis, system architecture, software development, software quality assurance and release.
Strong ability to analyze and solve complex problems. Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges
Familiarity with modern microcontroller architectures, GPIO interfaces and networking protocols
- Experience with boot loaders, RTOS's, device drivers, embedded applications, C++/C#, embedded Linux, Mono stack
- Familiarity with compiler internals, debuggers, disassemblers, and other low level development and analysis tools
- Demonstrated technical leadership among teams comprised of both hardware and software engineers
- Strong communication skills and experience presenting work to senior leadership teams up to the executive level
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple designs simultaneously
- Familiar with and accustomed to Agile design and development methodologies
- Ability to meet aggressive reliability, performance, cost, serviceability, and delivery targets
- Highly self-motivated team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a relevant field
Preferred/Desirable Qualifications:
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with embedded security
- Experience with Flash Memory devices , eMMC and/or UFS Flash memory interfaces a plus
- Experience in the development of product/engineering specifications and requirements
- Experience working with geographically dispersed development teams
