About you
We are looking for a person who is passionate for people, strongly believes in individuals’ potential, is service oriented, have strong power of initiative and excellent networking skills, combined with ability for building trustful relationships, is curious and open to new ideas, with ability to shift perspective from details to the big picture. We are looking for a person who also aspires to be HR Manager in one of our Stores in future. You possess:
- 3 years professional Human Resource experience,
- knowledge and experience in HR processes, tools and working methods according to work focus – recruitment processes, competence development, trainings,
- acquainted with Polish labour law,
- eagerness and desire to understand the IKEA business and customer needs and influence improvement of the business,
- self-reliant and motivated with proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently,
- quick learner who is easily able to adapt to changing demands,
- good analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills,
- ability to communicate confidently and clearly with various audiences both verbally and in writing,
- fluent in written and spoken English and Polish,
- educational background within Human Resources or equivalent.
About the job
As Store HR Generalist you will be a strong contributor to the unit managers and co-workers, you will provide HR subject matter expertise, process HR operations matters and ensure that the HR strategies are locally put into practice in the most effective and efficient way in order to fulfil the purpose of the HR function.
About the assignment:
- provide HR support and advice to the unit managers and co-workers,
- contribute to the creation and operational implementation of the local HR action plan,
- conduct the recruitment processes regarding to local recruitment strategy,
- support the work on IKEA leadership capabilities by coordination of training and development activities,
- implement IKEA Talent approach, recruiting, spotting and developing talent,
- contribute to the positioning of IKEA as an attractive place to work and the preferred employer by implementing employer branding tactics,
- support for HR Administration in preparing and maintaining employee documentation, prepare HR reports,
- working with department’s action plans, and supporting the goals and targets set by your manager.
