For our client – an international production company based in Poznan, we are currently looking for person interested in working on position of Finance Consolidation Manager with fluent English knowledge.
Key responsibilities of Finance Consolidation Manager would be focused in five main areas: continuous improvement (i.a. planning, coordinating and leading on key change projects), people management (e.g. manage, motivate and engage the direct team (GL Manager, Tax and Treasury analysis) including providing constructive feedback in the review process, establish strong working relationship within the SSC, specially on the managerial level in order to coordinate closings and audits), closings (i.a. own the post-month end closing meeting, by coordinating with internal stakeholders, providing an overview of issues, ensuring corrections and tracking is in place, monitors accounting and quarterly analyses of pension, insurance, compensation & benefits and other bonus programs), analysis and data integrity (e.g. maintain the integrity of the consolidation data, ensure accuracy and reliability of general ledger/trial balance as well as of the asset register, review, summarize, and work with internal customers in on-going cycle counts, ensuring accuracy of inventory counts, analysing results, book-to-physical reconciliation, investigating variances and resolving issues through use of root cause analysis) as well as audits (i.a. liaise with external auditors).
The ideal Candidate should graduate University in area of Finance and Accounting, at least 7 years of experience working in accountancy preferably at production company (with IFRS) as well as minimum 4 years of experience in people management. Experience in Cost Accounting as well as fluent knowledge of English are a must. We are looking for people with solid communication skills, ability to analytical thinking and comprehensive look at the situation.
