Firmware Engineer (m/f)
Place of work: Kraków
Essential Duties and Responsibilities will include the following
- Translation of complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design with minimal supervision
- Work in a team environment developing cross platform and cross functional design solutions primarily using C
- Maintain current technical knowledge to support rapidly changing technology
- Documentation and testing of concepts and implementations
This position is in the Smart Card Reader group at HID Global. You will be part of a firmware development team and work from home for the first time. A location will be build up in Krakow on short notice.

Education and/or Experience
- Masters Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on development experience
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Comfortable working at a hardware level
- Experience with Smart Card technologies is a plus
- Experience with various chip IDEs as well as Visual Studio (2005+) and source code management tools
- Ability to travel
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, verbally and in writing, other languages are welcome
