Our client, a leading consulting company is urgently seeking GL Business Lead to join its multilingual team in Warsaw.

The key responsibilities of the successful Candidate may include:

• Operational leadership of outsourced Business Accounting activities
• Managing of circa 12 onshore staff increasing to circa 20 staff, and close liaison with the offshore Business Accounting leadership team providing outsourced accounting services
• Working within the framework of the Service Management Operating Model eg SLA/OLAs & KPIs
• Functional responsibility encompassing intercompany, fixed assets, general ledger and statutory accounts. Provision of management reports and analytical support to Business Finance Managers including financial analysis, planning and management accounting
• Coordinating and promote effective onshore-offshore team working, where appropriate
• Meeting/ exceeding target service deliverables
• Meeting/exceeding Delivery Centre Operating Unit Plan
• Securing and developing long term relationship with client
• Maintaining low attrition rates, and supporting the recruitment and retention and development of quality staff
• Introducing continuous improvement on service delivery

The ideal candidate should have master degree in accountancy, economics or finance. Minimum 3 years of operations delivery experience in finance with at least 3 years delivery experience in a leadership role.  MS Office (mainly Excel) and ERP literacy is desirable. Flexibility required to interact with and manage a broad range of customers and competing priorities.
