Our client, a prestigious and highly respected global company, is planning to develop a Shared Service Centre in Lodz and is urgently seeking a GL Fixed Assets Accountant.
The main responsibility of the successful candidate will be to record tangible assets, the depreciation for these assets, tracking and indentifying assets as well as maintaining appropriate records and assisting in the conversion of fixed assets.
Moreover, the duties will include management of FA recording in SAP and reporting process to the business. Additionally Fixed Assets Accountant will be responsible for performing advanced review of capital expenditure transactions to ensure proper treatment and PO coding. He/she will be also assisting in fixed asset processing such as additions, disposals, transfers and status changes during periods of heavy volume. Fixed Assets Accountant will be responsible as well for reviewing operating expenditures for potential capex treatment.
The successful candidate has 1-3 years of fixed assets or project/cost accounting experience and very good English language skills. Minimum intermediate Excel skills are required. Accounting degree as well as working knowledge of SAP Projects and SAP Fixed Assets would be an advantage. We are looking for highly organized individuals with the ability to multi task and paying attention to detail.
