IT Business Analyst (with experience using Splunk and Jira)

Responsibilites
- Gathering requirements for data on-boarding into Splunk
- Creating and Defining Use cases
- Creating JIRA Tickets
- Performing Requirement reviews with the Stakeholders and Splunk Engineers
- Creating Specification for Splunk engineers based on a pre-defined template
- Overall management and completion of administrative operations
- Detect the dependencies regarding the affected IT systems which are impacted in the project
- Finding solutions to business problems as part of the overall strategic roadmap
- Define Requirements acceptance criteria in a form that enables the testing organization to develop test assets
Requirements
Essential:
- Proven record in an Technical Business Analyst role (2-3 years);
- Degree in Computer Science, Management or related field or equivalent experience;
- Solid business analysis skills (especially documentation of business, functional and non-functional requirements) with a proven record of project participation and delivery;
- Experience using JIRA and SPLUNK as a tools to manage requirements;
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English and ability to interact with both the IT and the business stakeholders;
- Experience in corporate culture environments;
- Ability to manage client expectations and control/deliver the project; despite possible changes to requirements and scope;
- Working knowledge of RUP is an asset;
- E2E delivery - business stakeholders/requirements/test support;
Nice to have:
- Industry best practice qualifications (e.g. CBAP, IREP) are a clear advantage;
