We are looking for a Product Manager who enjoys the same things. We seek a person who can manage a number of IT products in the Email Messaging services space, enjoys vendor negotiations and feels vested in and enjoys making savings and good deals. Our team is looking to add a member to the Messaging & Collaboration Engineering Technology team who:
- enjoys vendor management and negotiates well
- understands basic financing and cost management
- thrives in a multi-cultural environment
- knows the basics of Computer hardware and Software
- develops product roadmaps and plans
Your team
Our team is globally responsible for messaging & collaboration solutions (Email, SharePoint, Document Management), hardware and software products. We engineer and provide products and solutions to the business users, to enable them to communicate & collaborate across the world. The group also manages a number of vendors who provide the supporting services and product components in each of the areas. In addition to the Engineering responsibilities we manage the product roadmaps, strategies and costs. We have team members in Poland, the Switzerland and the UK.
Your experience and skills
You are:
- eager to work in an English Speaking Global Team.
- comfortable with financial forecasting, budgeting and accrual accounting
- happy to present technical information in a simplified format, such as roadmaps, to a wide group of stakeholders.
You have:
- a good understanding of computer systems, software and the technical industry jargon, especially in the collaboration & document management space.
- the patience of a saint.
- a College or Technical School education in Finance, Engineering, Math or Science.
