Job Purpose Statement:
Focuses on the delivery of defined learning and development initiatives that support the business in achieving a skilled and empowered workforce with the competence to achieve the business goals, including profitability and the Customer Experience.
Supports continuous improvement by recommending changes to existing materials to improve productivity, compliance and quality.
Key Accountabilities:
Business Knowledge - Develops understanding of the FedEx business environment within EMEA, together with knowledge of developments within the L&D field (CE, sales process, methodologies, technologies etc).
Builds effective alignments within HR and across relevant Customer groups in order to improve understanding of current & evolving business needs, explain or resolve issues etc.
Training Accreditation - Gains required technical certifications within FedEx & from external consultants, typically to cover one or more assigned area involving skills, knowledge and behavioural training (methods, standards, and regulatory requirements).
Planning & Projects - Plans, prioritises and schedules work, including organising facilities, equipment and travel, in order to ensure maximum productivity and customer satisfaction.
Measurement & Reporting – Uses approved processes and tools to provide accurate and timely information relating to the measurement of training solutions, based on established factors.
Training Preparation - Prepares for training delivery by performing validation checks of existing materials to ensure compliance with latest regulatory or company procedures and standards. Determines any specific requirements from management and then ensures all changes are correctly captured prior to preparing actual materials.
Delivery of Learning Solutions - Delivers a range of ILT training sessions and provides support for CBT modules. Conducts training evaluations and collates/evaluates feedback
Requirements:
Excellent command of business English

Basic understanding of the business environment e.g. Customer, regulatory, competitor and cultural.
Good understanding of a complex business (FedEx) including strategies, goals, CE and key business services and processes
Good knowledge of general H.R. practices, processes & programs
Good knowledge of learning and development principles, methodologies and technologies including CBT, with experience of delivering learning & development solutions that support business goals and incorporate quality assurance principles & techniques
Good understanding of motivational & coaching theories
Good knowledge of I.T. applications & their capabilities
Good p.c. skills
Good analytical skills with knowledge of performance evaluation and measurement methods and metrics
Excellent planning and organising skills
