You will manage one Manufacturing Services category along with group of dedicated Buyers to ensure sustainable services execution and business continuity to IP manufacturing facilities within EMEA region. Annual spend is $30+ million and group savings and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) value creation target is up to 10% of the overall spend.

- Manage respective category through building up, implementing and sustaining long-term sourcing strategies, based on market trends analysis and production facilities requirements to achieve company financial objectives.
- Be a change leader in cross functional sourcing projects, challenging the status quo, to identify new opportunities while working closely with internal customers.
- Drive TCO (total cost of ownership / life cycle cost) reduction initiatives by engaging key suppliers in suggesting improvements in the operations, processes or procedures with the goal of reducing total cost without emphasis solely on reducing the initial purchase price of the commodity/service.
- Develop and implement supplier programs to provide long-term best value while ensuring that the Company stays on the leading edge in the suppliers’ development of new, improved, technically advanced materials or services.
- Manage all Category-related activities. These include, but are not limited to: Strategic Sourcing execution, proposals analysis, suppliers’ negotiations, awarding & implementing contracts, price, as well as contract and spend compliance control and supplier’s performance management.
- Provide manufacturing facilities with accurate, timely information regarding terms of supply contracts. Provide liaison with manufacturing facilities and suppliers as issues of quality, price or delivery arise.
- Manage a group of 1-2 Buyers using HR tools including on-boarding, performance assessment, development plans and career architect process. Build the team through engagement.
- Relentlessly pursue opportunities to reduce and avoid costs through good planning, research, communications, and application of procurement strategies and tactics.
- Bachelor or Master degree in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Management, Accounting, Finance or Economics required.
- Five+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, negotiating contracts, experience in two or more functional areas which should include leading of cross-functional projects
- Demonstrated leadership and developing managerial skills.
- Purchased complex items, where detailed specification was involved.
- Been involved in developing specifications and analysis to balance the value of competing bids; project management and certain strategic planning is key.
- A demonstrated command of skills in analysis and negotiations, project management, communications, presentations and change management.
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence internal and external counterparts in order to motivate them to obtain desired results.
- Fluency in English oral and written (base requirement); additional operating languages would be beneficial (French, Spanish, Polish, Italian, Turkish or Russian)
