Responsibilites
- Work within offshore part of a distributed team that provides BAU („Business as Usual") services for a portfolio of applications.
- Develop application enhancements
- Initial technical analysis of incoming issues
- Resolve incoming incidents and service requests
- Coordinate activities with multiple groups, including deployment and environment support teams
- Applications monitoring
- Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
- Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues
- Prepare accurate and timely reports
- Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles
Requirements
- BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
- Proven working experience in enterprise technical support, IT support or as a technical engineer
- Strong C# programming skills
- SharePoint platform development experience is highly desirable
- Scripting experience, preferably Python is required
- MS SQL working experience, advanced data querying and analyzing skills
- Good knowledge of Windows, Linux and Solaris systems, utilities and scripting.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Database administration skills is a plus
- Any of HTML/JavaScript/Ember experience would be beneficial
- Flexibility in work late hours if required
