Oracle DataBase Administrator
Job Description
- Daily support of Oracle Databases including RAC and DataGuard configuration
- Maintenance and upgrade Oracle Database software
- Diagnosis and solving availability/performance issues
- Designing Database solutions including High availability configuration
- Implementation of new projects
- Cooperation with foreign team members
- Creating documentation
- The position will be located in Bydgoszcz
- At least 3 years of experience in Oracle 11g/10g/9 database administration
- Oracle database software installation, upgrading and patching
- Database creation according to customer requirements
- Ability to analyze database systems deployment and configuration for current or new customers
- Knowledge and experience in data migration between databases ( export/import with exp/imp tools and Data Pump usage, transportable tablespace, RMAN cloning)
- Knowledge of database archiving and recovery concepts using RMAN
- Experience in backup and recovery with RMAN Catalog database and SAN architecture
- Knowledge and experience in flashback functionality
- Knowledge and experience in database monitoring in terms resource usage
- Knowledge and experience in database performance tuning
- Knowledge and experience in database High Availability solutions : RAC, DataGuard
- Knowledge and experience in Grid Control
- OCA/OCP certificates as a plus
- Experience in management of Oracle associated products will be a plus
