For our Client, international well known organization, for its new Financial Centre, we are currently looking for Candidates for a position of: Payroll Specialist for UK Market.
Responsibilities:
1. transaction processing in the area of: payroll files processing, validation of payroll files,
checking for files completeness, ensuring the timeliness of payroll files processing, query
resolution, reconciliation process, payments processing, query handling and reporting
according to agreed process maps and Desk Top Procedures or other guidelines;
2. interacting with employees, client or third party providers to process payroll data and
ensure the correct and timely pay;
3. initiating and actively supporting any continuous improvement activities or other process
and/or tools improvements;
4. participating in payroll related projects, constantly proving and developing payroll expertise
in all aspects (process, tools etc)
5. if required acting as back up for team members and/or additional functions as assigned by
supervisor
6. ensuring the achievement of payroll targets as defined by supervisor, manager and
contractual SLAs
7. performing required administrative tasks including but not limited to assisting in audits,
submitting data on work time and attendance, following internal procedures.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in UK Payroll
- Solid knowledge of UK specific payroll regulations
- University degree (preferable accountancy, economy or finance),
- Very good knowledge English is required
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel),
- Analytical mindset
- Ability to take responsibility for assigned tasks
- Effective cooperation with all stakeholders and team members
