Successful candidates will have:
- Ability to design, build and maintain applications in an Agile as well as Waterfall environments.
- Ability to liaise with Business Analysis to support the requirements engineering process as well as conduct effort estimates for the respective project's engineering, testing and integration tasks.

- 5+ years' experience in similar positions.
- A proven track record in a similar environment:
- Delivering software solutions to demanding product owners, being part of a large and (possibly) distributed team.
- e2e software development lifecycle with focus on the integration of 3rd party components.
- Incident management, problem analysis in a complex environment with remote, multi-tiered installations.
We recruit 'generalizing specialists' who are experienced experts in these core technology areas and users of, or would like to learn, the other technologies:
- J2SE including UI development
- JavaScript, HTML5 and XML
Knowledge in these other technologies would be beneficial:
- J2EE incl. design patterns and component architecture (especially EJB and Struts)
- Restful/SOAP service oriented applications
- Test driven development and continuous integration & deployment
- Oracle and/or DB2 databases, SQL
- Functional programming languages (e.g. Scala)
- IT Security (authentication, authorization, cryptography, certificate mgmt., etc.)
- Unix (shell) and Perl scripting
As a Java Engineer with excellent knowledge in J2SE you will contribute to the design and implementation of Java based applications as well as the respective maintenance and 3rd level support. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team the Java Developer is a specialist role that is responsible for building high volume records archiving solution.
This role includes also responsibilities of a technical lead for a small team of Java developers (initially 3 people).
IMPORTANT NOTE: Position is placed in WROCLAW. However, first 3 months candidate would spend in US/Weehawken for project onboarding and knowledge transfer activities.
