Job description:
- Provide 2nd line technical application support of eCommerce system components in Production environment
- Production and Reporting of Production reporting and statistics to Program Management
Key responsibilities:
- Day to day management of eCommerce production incidents and infrastructure including Portals, Feeds, Hardware, Software, DR
- Create and maintain key relationships with dependent teams within the bank such as eCommerce Dev and Test, Operations, STP, Infrastructure and other global support teams
- Maintain relationships with systems users
- Ensure all processes and procedures are created, signed off and adhered to including all bank standards processes
- Release management and deployment of new enhancements and components into the eCommerce production systems environments
- Manage change control and release process into production
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for eCommerce support team and group
- Test and Implement minor systems changes (configuration and non-development)
- Capital Markets experience and experience in FX trading platform is desirable and added advantage
Basic qualifications:
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good client facing skills
- Fluent English
- 1+ years’ experience in a production support related role
- Knowledge of Java language is an must, experience in development in Java will be an advantage
- Good shell scripting skills in Unix environment
- Capital Markets background / FX knowledge would be an advantage
- Knowledge of SQL language, preferably in Oracle environment
- Experience with Reuters RET will be an advantage
- Experience with eCommerce platforms especially in an investment banking arena will be an advantage
- University degree
