Infrastructure part:
- Ensuring safe and legally required work place to all EOL employees through execution of agreed infrastructure care program/schedules
- Undertake any necessary steps to develop infrastructure assets care and practices to maintain shareholder’s value
- Maximize effectiveness of agreed budget
- Liaise with Maintenance Manager to find best way of ensuring safe working environment, no interrupted production
- Liaise with ADM refinery technical lead to explore potential synergies
- Selecting contractors to perform regular service as well as fix ad hock issues
- Be a valued member of the EOL team, attending meetings and joining project/focus groups as and when required
- Amending the infrastructure maintenance annual program and schedule to make effective use of all lessons learnt
- Performs direct supervision over contractors and has full accountability to provide adequate training to them re specific ADM/EOL requirements
- Assess a risk of jobs to be done and grants work permit to people involved
Project Part:
- Development of CAPEX budget for the year as well as long term plan
- Preparation and presentation of required internal documents to fulfill approval process standards
- Execution of approved capital projects in close cooperation with Purchasing and Operation within agreed budget and time
- Management of post execution service including snags, complaints and warranty period
- Ensuring full compliance with internal standards and rules during projects execution having SAFETY always as top priority
- Ensuring all new installations comply with requirements of H&S legislation, IPPC permits, HACCP, GMP etc.
- Being proactive in identifying opportunities for improved performance and/or savings
- Liaise with regional CAPEX lead to supply required data, manage the database as well as draw learnings and benchmark opportunities
- Manage the projects financial to accounting standards
- Ensure smooth handover of projects to final user
- Manage the fixed assets log and perform stock taking as required by Finance
- Keeps up to date with packaging technology development and key OEMs inventions/innovations - plays SME a role in NPD process
- The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Educated to degree level in mechanical engineering or a related degree with a strong affinity to the project management
- In excess of 2 years’ experience in engineering, project management
- Good English – communication and writing ( basic German will be an advantage)
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and knowledge of SAP as well as ACAD
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with colleagues and contractors at all levels
- Good problem solving and organizational skills
