Work closely with Development teams, QA / AST teams, Prod. Support, Environment teams and users to manage the deliverables and milestones for a release [End to end Release coordination]
Communicate clearly and appropriately with Application Owners and Sr. Management level, Project Managers, Development teams, Change teams, Business end users, Technical SME’s
Participate in change review board meetings and access the impact of late changes to the release
Review multiple changes planned, assess impact / dependency of changes and schedule
Coordinate for code deployments for UAT / Regression phases
Create, update and review of change request (RFC's) for relevant information
Follow up with relevant groups for approvals
Cleary articulate and communicate in a timely manner on the status of release, issues if any, next steps to resolution
Host release calls during release, track and publish release status
Must have:
About 6-8 years of industry experience with at least 3 years of change & release management experience
Must have strong Development background, Project Management Skills, including planning, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, WBS (work breakdown structures), project timelines
Must have strong communication & stakeholder management skills
Must have strong experience in conducting GAP Analysis, Risk Analysis, Impact Analysis and extensive experience with Business Process Modeling.
Nice to have:
Strongly desired to have knowledge of Investment Banking and/or Financial Service
Technically Savvy: Weblogic, Web-Services, Oracle
Strong experience in all stages of Software Development Life Cycle, with proficiency in Waterfall Methodology. Fully understand all phases, especially BRDs, development, quality assurance, Integration testing, UAT, Regression and Performance testing
Ability to conduct Change Control Board, and implement Governance & processes throughout all the phases of SDLC
Strong business and presentation skills
Demonstrate strong drive, initiative and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Should be able to prioritize and handle multiple project requests / issues simultaneously
