The role is supporting the Finance Team of the respective entities in conducting a broad array of accounting processes, including the month end close and other GL activities.

The role gives great opportunity to develop knowledge and practical skills on a path to senior position in finance (e.g. Controller).

- Provide accounting services for current transactions in accordance with US GAAP, all tax and accounting regulations
- Be responsible for verification of accounting documents in terms of formal and substantive compatibility
- Process payments, provide accounting of accruals, allowances and others
- Quality review account reconciliations
- Cooperate with external institutions, such as: US, GUS, NBP, ZUS
- Take part in internal audit processes
- Supervise over the process of capital spendings, register of fixed assets and related documentation
- Prepare and reconcile the tax returns (VAT, CIT) and files JPK VAT
- Prepare annual financial statements
- Cooperate with the internal and external auditors
- Reconcile General Ledger balances
- Monitor the tax law changes on daily basis
- Improve the optimization of accounting processes and the chart of accounts, formulate solutions and execute the improvement to the key financial areas in line with reporting obligations, tax law and corporate requirements
- Degree in finance/accounting
- More than 5 years of experience of working in a similar position for a manufacturing company
- Very good knowledge of accounting principles, balance sheet and tax law (VAT, CIT)
- Knowledge of US GAAP (would be an asset)
- Experience of preparing financial statements and controlling reports
- Fluency in English that allows free communication in terms of financial and accounting aspects (is a must)
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and modern ERP systems (knowledge of SAP would be an asset)
- Analytical skills and you are autonomous, responsible and target-oriented
- Knowledge of operating in a Special Economic Zone (would be an asset)
