- Work inside an inter-cultural team of 10 software engineers
- Beside bug-fixing part of the work is to implement and design new features, components or
technologies (according to roadmap planning and customer change requests) inside our HMI tool
- Work closely together with a technical writer who supports in writing online help, user
documentation, training materials etc.
- +3 years of commercial experience in Java
- German language is a very strong advantage
- Understanding C++ and ability to also do some C++ programming
- Knowledge of Eclipse Modelling Framework (EMF) is an advantage
- Knowledge of building tools with Eclipse is an advantage
- Knowing Agile software development process is an advantage
- Having basic design abilities (icon creation, ...) is an advantage
- Git knowledge is an advantage
- Expertise and willingness to prepare and held trainings and workshops at the Luxoft office or
at customer site is an advantage
- fluent English and excellent interpersonal skills
Work for a R&D department inside Luxoft Automotive Division. We newly acquired a product which already is
inside the market. The tool (including a framework and platform) enables customers to implement their own
HMI for head-unit and instrument cluster systems inside automotive area. The tool itself is written in Java
using Eclipse while the framework is written in C++. The tool is used to define all the different screens
including graphics, positions, color of elements which together form the HMI instrument cluster. We plan to
increase the market penetration. You will working in a challenging environment with intercultural teams
(German and Russia).
