Responsibilites
Oracle Database administrator required to work with the Advisory business line to provide high level database expertise for day to day build and support of production and development servers.
Requirements
- Must have experience and knowledge of the following RDBMS technologies:
Oracle RDBMS 11.2
Oracle 11G OEM
Oracle Dataguard
Oracle RMAN
Oracle RAC
- A good working knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Linux
- Excellent database performance tuning skills and SQL code tuning skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills with an attention to detail and an ability to follow process, including raising SRs with Oracle and following them through to resolution
- Ability to work to a schedule and manage workload
- Good team working skills but equally has to be capable of working alone
- The successful candidate must have an excellent track record of Oracle Database Administration support, ideally within the banking/financial industry

The role is based in Wrocław while other DBA team members are based in London, therefore the cross region communication is very important to this role. There may be working weekends required but this is only in exceptional cases. The successful candidate must have an excellent track record of Oracle Database Administration support, preferably in a financial environment.
