Senior Silverlight Developer

Responsibilities:
  • Working with business analyst on design of new functionalities
  • Design, development of .Net / Silverlight 5.0 based web application
  • Making sure that the code is errors free
  • Drive the change of development process towards market standards
  • Work with other developers across the department on best practices
Requirements:

Mandatory:

  • Experience of creating web applications using Silverlight UI in XAML /C#
  • Proficiency in Silverlight 5.0/4.0/3.5, C#(4.0/3.0/2.0) with MS SQL Server and / or Oracle 10g database.
  • Experience of working with PRISM and MVVM design patterns for Silverlight / WPF.
  • Experience in WCF services or good to have knowledge in integrating JAP services with Silverlight.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and test driven development.
  • Having knowledge in Unit Testing and code coverage tools.
  • Familiarity Service Oriented Architecture [SOA] concepts using .NET Framework would be nice to have
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
