- Degree level (Master / Engineer) in Electrical/Electronic/Control Engineering required
- 2-4 years experience in software testing of embedded systems with RTOS required
- Good knowledge of C/C++ required
- Strong English language skills required, German seen as an advantage
- VHDL/Verilog, scripting language (e.g. Python, Tcl/Tk) seen as an advantage
- Know-how of electrical energy conversion, power electronics, electrical machines and converter control algorithms seen as an advantage
- Effective written and verbal communication skills (procedures, reports, remote international cooperation, etc.) required
- Good skills in independent problem analysis and solving required

- Verification and validation of control software algorithms for IGBT frequency converters for multi-megawatt wind turbines
- Control software development for frequency converters
- Requirements gathering and management
- Preparation of complete test process documentation (test plan, test case specification, test incident report, etc.)
- Definition and implementation of automated test procedures
- Executing test procedures and reporting results thereof
