- Provide L3 Support to operational applications running out of both NY and ZH
- Act as developer for multiple .Net BI projects
- The development services will range from regional specific deliverables to collaborative delivery of global projects and will require strong problem-solving skills.
- Engage with the business to capture and refine requirements
- Development initiatives will cover all phases of the SDLC+ lifecycle, including design, development, implementation and support of software solutions
- Work closely with a global technology team and contribute throughout the agile development cycle
- To be part of a global, client-focused team that supports a wide range of business initiatives and processes for Products IT in the PB WM domain
Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt in a dynamic environment is critical
- BS / BA in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or Mathematics
- Minimum 5+ years of IT experience
Technical Knowledge:
- Good work experience in Microsoft reporting services, Integration services, analysis services and MS .Net
- Efficient Analytic, Problem Solving, & Decision Making Skills.
- Excellent knowledge in RDBMS concepts and constructs along with Database Objects creation such as Tables, User Defined Data Types, Indexes, Stored Procedures, User Defined Functions and Cursors
- Solid skills in MS Office suite, Excel, Word, Power Point, SQL using sql server and / or Oracle
- Working knowledge in dash boarding tools such Tableau and Qlick View a plus
- Working knowledge of Enterprise Architecture a plus
Business Knowledge:
- General knowledge of financial industry - equities, fixed income, options
- Knowledge of Private Banking domain - Risk Analysis, wealth management strategies and advisory process a plus

PB&WM Products IT, a divison within CS, develops and operates state of the art applications for 14 Private Banking & Wealth Management business areas. Our footprint is global, servicing Americas, EMEA, Switzerland and APAC.
PB&WM Products Risk IT team owns the global systems to manage and monitor the financial risk of our client funds. Our systems are responsible for safeguarding over 200 billion in client assets. We deal in all types of financial products, including equities, fixed income, multi-asset classes, commodities, credit and other alternative investments. Our systems are both legacy and strategic, including our SPEAR+ system which was recently shortlisted for The Best Use of IT for Risk and Regulatory by the Technology Banking Awards in London, UK.
The PB&WM Products Risk IT team is now looking for an experienced individual to provide L3 support & development whilst also being capable of direct liaison with the business to capture additional requirements. This person should be well versed in Financial Services and be an integral part of a global client-focused team. The role is based in Wroclaw, Poland.
SPEAR supports the determination of Performance, Exposure, Attribution and Risk modeling analysis. It is a CS developed application that uses 3rd party vendors for running industry standard analyses against provided data sets. There are currently 2 instances of SPEAR - one located in New York (ICTO-16027) and one in Zurich (ICTO-20848) - the data and users of each instance are separate and distinct.
