Senior Technical Service Engineer

Main accountabilities
- Technical support of modules, monitoring, rooftop products and BOS
- Investigate customer complaints and claims, work closely with international 1st and 2nd level support teams, help and guide customers to provide required information
- Investigate failures, lead root cause analysis and present failure analysis reports internally based on IR & EL imaging and IV curve tracing
- Simulation of PV-installations with various tools, e.g. regarding energy yield, self-consumption, financial aspects, etc.
- Analyze field issues and solve module / system issues
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) for modules, support internal trainings and knowledge transfer
- Organize sites visit with customers, prepare site visit reports and system performance analysis
- Handle and improve administration processes x-functional with other teams (Logistics, Sales, Finance, etc.)
- Constantly improving the processes to make technical support procedures and usage of tools more efficient and more customer oriented including documentation
- Maintain and develop statistics needed for problem solving and claim management
Requirements
- Technical education with electrical and/or mechanical background
- Min 1-2 years professional experience in a customer oriented environment about technical products
- Experience in PV industry is desirable
- Ability and proven experience to think creatively learn and develop innovative solutions to electro-mechanical challenges
- Proven problem solving skills and troubleshooting experience
- High Level of customer and sales orientation
- Self motivated, with ability to work both independently and with multiple teams
- Very good communication skills
Fluency in English language (written and verbally)- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Powerpoint
