For our Client - big international company we are searching for Candidates on position Chief Accountant.

scope of duties: 

• Supports the day to day management of the financial accounting function.
• Coordinates the month end accounting close process in order to provide timely and accurate financial reports for Internal and External users.
• Supervises year-end accounting closing in line with parent company deadlines.
• Coordinates analyses of General ledger on a monthly basis in order to ensure the data integrity.
• Ensures timely follow up of old balances.
• Ensures that the liaison with the European Shared Center is adequate and that the information flow is accurate.
• Responsible for statutory reporting and legal functions (records of Shareholders Minutes).
• Coordinates all local and national tax, customs and industry body filings and payments.
• Provides full assistance to both Internal and External Auditors in order to ensure accomplishment of their mission.

Requirements:  

• Master's degree (finance or similar)
• 3-5 years of working within a major multinational organisation or major public accounting firm
• Additional years in an international healthcare business in the area of finance and accounting
• Proven managerial skills and ability to lead and develop subordinates
• CPA or equivalent certification 
• Fluent in both written and verbal English
