CHIEF ACCOUNTANT / GłÓWNY KSIĘGOWY (m/w)

Our Client, a global leader in its sector, operating successfully in Poland for more than 15 years, is seeking to recruit an experienced professional for the position of Chief Accountant to support the company's dynamic growth

- Manage all accounting functions of the Company
- Prepare statutory tax declarations and financial statements according to Polish GAAP
- Drive the month-end reporting process; ensure complete and accurate financial reporting and full reconciliation of the balance sheet in a timely manner
- Provide support in the preparation and consolidation of budgets and periodic forecasts
- Perform ad hoc analysis
- Maintain relationships with auditors, tax authorities and other external institutions
- Manage and develop the accounting team

- University degree in Finance / Accounting
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting
- Strong knowledge of Polish accounting standards as well as IAS/IFRS
- Solid understanding of Polish taxes (VAT, CIT, PIT)
- Very good command of English in a professional environment
- Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Good knowledge of SAP will be a strong asset
- Strong command of MS Office, particularly Excel
