The Swedwood Group is the industrial group of IKEA and was founded in 1991. Swedwood’s primary task is to ensure
production capacity for IKEA. This is accomplished by establishing and operating sawmills, component and furniture
production units strategically located relative markets and/or raw materials supply. Swedwood has more than 40 production
units and offices mainly in East Europe and has 15 000 employees. Swedwood is divided in four Business
Sectors and the Business Sector Board on Frame has two units in Poland, Zbąszynek and Lubawa. These units belong
to Business Area Poland employing in total 4500 people. Now we are looking for a
- to the Board on Frame unit in Zbąszynek, Poland
The business sector Board on Frame specializes in manufacturing light weight furniture such as tables, cupboards, shelves, beds
and chest of drawers. The construction technique, in which furniture components are partly filled with honeycomb paper, makes it
possible to produce low cost products with a reduced consumption of raw materials. The latter is important to Swedwood and IKEA in its
overall environmental focus and sustainable management of resources. Our factories are located in Poland, Portugal and USA.
The main responsibility for the HR-manager is to ensure quality of the HR-processes in the Zbąszynek unit and its three production plants
with the aim to attract, develop and retain our co-workers. The job tasks include securing introduction, recruitment, training & development
and succession planning. You are also responsible for the salary and compensation structure in the unit as well as union negotiations
and the internal communication.
In addition you will be responsible for the HR-department and support and direct your colleagues in order to gain the overall goals for
the unit. You will work in close connection to the strategic HR-function in Sweden in order to implement the overall HR-strategy in the unit.
You will belong to the production unit management team and report to the unit manager which enables plenty of opportunities to
influence the direction of the production unit.
You have a university degree in Economics, Business Administration or HR and have at least five years of experience from being an
HR-manager. Industrial experience is rewarding as well as experience from being a line manager.
You are a proven change driver and have a strong will to improve your organization and challenge existing working methods.

Fluent English, both written and spoken, is a prerequisite as well as PC-skills on a professional level.
