Tester

Location: Poznań

Take responsibility for ensuring that applications fulfil business requirements Work on a wide range of projects from small websites to complex, enterprise class systems.


• Participation in functional testing applications and systems developed for external customers (mainly international companies) of various sectors.
• Creating test scenarios.
• Scripting -writing, running and improving automated test scripts.
• Current cooperation with software developers in Poland and abroad and participation in new projects

• Academic background in Computer Science or Engineering
• Experience in a hands-on testing role especially functional testing including UAT and manual tests
• Experience with automation tools such as FIT, Selenium, Winrunner
• Familiarity with defect/issue management systems (e.g. Jira, Bugzilla)
• Experience working in the full life cycle development right from the requirements gathering and analysis phase
• Experience of working closely with developers.
• Exposure to object oriented analysis and design and testing on systems developed in Java J2EE and .NET
• Knowledge of creating test frameworks and strategy, choosing automated testing tools and creating testing standards
• Experience of testing on a programme using Agile methods
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Passion and commitment to a tester role
• Proactive, hands-on attitude
