On behalf of Sony Pictures Entertainment Global Business Services in Gdynia, Poland, we are currently recruiting for the position of FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT who will contribute to the achievement of quality and performance standards of General Accounting and Control.
 
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
GDYNIA, POLAND

Duties and Responsibilities:
 

• Take responsibility for the integrity and accuracy of the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow under the supervision of the territory Financial Controller/Finance Director
• Validate automatic and prepare manual General Ledger postings
• Complete reconciliations of Balance Sheet items and interfaces as appropriate
• Obtain measures and information for reporting purposes
• Execute general accounting period-end routines
• Perform GL close processes
• Prepare other management reports and analysis as required
• Liaise with Finance teams
• Prepare and draft statutory accounts in accordance with local IFRS requirements

Skills & Experience Required:
 

• degree in finance or accounting
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting role
• knowledge of IFRS and IAS
• Exposure to international shared service environment
• Good working knowledge of SAP Financials
• Excellent Ms Excel skills
• Ability to operate in an international environment and within tight deadlines

 
Language Skills:
 

• Business English language skills (oral and written)
• Ability to effectively communicate in another European language will be a strong advantage
• Working knowledge of Polish is an advantage but is not necessary
