BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE (m/w)

Our Client is a leading international provider of financial services. Due to its strategy and its rapid development in new and emerging markets they are currently seeking to recruit an ambitious and experienced individual to join their senior management team. The successful candidate will thus take on a key operation position across international markets and will progress to the Executive level within 12 - 18 months.

- Work closely with the local management team and leading assignments or projects with a critical impact to the business's strategic development (i.e. new market entry activity, product development, regional expansion, maximising business performance etc.)
- Develop appropriate recommendations to address identified or anticipated opportunities or threats. These may relate to business process optimisation, profit improvement, product development, risk management and controls
- Ensure that the company's operational activity complies with current and future legislative, commercial and organisational requirements, both at a local and international level
- Lead and inspire the team under his/her control, managing, coaching and developing team members as appropriate in order to achieve business objectives

- Academic background, preferably with MBA or post graduate qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of commercial experience gained preferably in financial services, credit and/or banking industries
- Experience of handling and coordinating complex and demanding project assignments
- Ability to build, motivate and lead a team
- Proven success in achieving results as a consequence of leadership skills, ability to persuade and influence, and the quality of argument and thinking
- Ability to deal with internal/ external contacts at all levels
- Fluency in English
- Experience in operating in foreign markets would be desirable
- Mobility to relocate across Europe and other destinations would be an advantage
