We are looking for experienced and motivated professional for a position of Solution Manager. The successful Candidate is expected to be a technical leader in bid projects and will be responsible for translating customer requirements into a solution that is based on our portfolio. He / she will be in charge of the overall solution and its deliverability in terms of business, services, technology, resource, timeline and cost/ business case. The primary market of activities and customers base for the Solution Manager will be North West Europe region.
Job Description
Main duties:

Manages the solution process within the financial and timing objectives and restraints of the overall bid process

Aims to align the proposed solution with the standard portfolio and ensures a good fit with customer requirements

Leads a team of Architects and other technical specialists within a bid

Designs a consistent solution, its starting points and conditions

Advises on risks intrinsic to the proposed solution including possible risk mitigations

Advises on transition strategy and coordinates with the bid appointed Transition Manager

Actively engages with the customer, proving that Atos has the required expertise and building a relationship with the customer based on trust and knowledge

Creates commercial texts and presentations for proposals and provides input to contract and SLA

Assists in negotiation process with the customer

Tailors the solution towards the ‘winning price’ within delivery capabilities and with the standard portfolio in mind

Determines the solution costs

Identifies financial risks and proposes steps to mitigate these risks

Identifies financial opportunities and proposes steps to realize these opportunities

Provide feedback of bid results and experiences towards other team members and management

Coach less senior colleagues on the job

Participate and/or provide input on WIN/LOSS review
- Strong leadership skills
- Sound knowledge of IT Infrastructure and IT Outsourcing Business, as well as knowledge of the market leading operation models
- Previous experience as Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, Technical Lead, Project or Program Manager desirable
- Previous experience in bid management in IT industry / IT Outsourcing Business desirable
- Experience in pre-sales risk management processes and tools a significant plus
- Good knowledge of IT service segments and processes according to ITIL
- Business fluent in English language in written and spoken; German or French is a plus
- Strong enforcement, planning and communication capabilities
- Strong customer focus mindset and high work ethic
- Flexible, pro-active, self-motivated and self-starter individual who is eager to learn and has a keen perception
- Entrepreneurial thinking and execution
- High degree of flexibility in dealing with the customer (and any third party consultant)
- Flexible to travel
