For our client, global consumer goods company, we are looking for

Head of Shared Service Centre

Within this role you would be responsible for development and implementation of strategies that deliver high quality and cost effective shared service, lead and direct the planning and delivery of services to the SSC customers, while maintaining and enforcing all applicable policies and procedures and work with the Steering Committee to develop and confirm Service and Operating Level Agreements and revise these as required. What is more your accountability would be to oversee the recruitment, selection, induction and onboarding of managers and staff to meet plans and workload and as well as provide direction through supervision, retention, mentoring, training and development of SSC employees in support of the corporate goals and objectives. The role also involves promoting efficient and effective team working within Centre, collaborating, influencing and working closely with internal and external customers and supervising office security, facility and off-site storage. You would also supervise business continuity and disaster recovery planning, policies and procedures.

A successful candidate should hold Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Business, Human Resources or a similar field. You should also have at least 10 years of combined experience in finance and accounting and HR and managing other support services. Experience in working in manufacturing or consumer packaged goods environment is preferred as well as experience in the implementation of process improvement plans and strategies. Perfect candidate should also have proven track record of implementing ad hoc initiatives that keep staff turn-over under control from a business continuity perspective, strong analytical and excellent change management and process management leadership skills. Solid understanding of HR and Payroll processes, with emphasis on USA HR practices and familiarity with standard support services technology including PC and Web-based applications and understanding of business finance system platforms (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and Human Resources Information Systems is also required. Proficiency in written and spoken English is also required.
