Our client is international importer and distributor of food products. They are currently seeking experienced candidate for the position of Supplier and NPD Manager.
Main responsibilities:

- Lead and manage projects with current and new suppliers from idea through to launch.
- Work closely with purchasing function in sourcing, developing and monitoring new and existing supplier base.
- Contribute new ideas and ensure the launch of new products is smooth and on time.
- Lead team meetings with suppliers’ NPD & commercial teams to ensure coordination between them and head-office and that effective controls are in place.
- Visit suppliers from time to time to ensure projects/production are on target and according to agreed specification.
- Work with packaging and artwork design.
- From time to time, assist sales management in organising inward buyer visits to Poland and communicating with customers.
- Work closely with Purchasing, Technical, NPD and Sales team at head office.
Requirements:
- A Leader with a positive and ‘can do’ attitude. A solutions seeker.
- Excellent project manager and team player with solid organisational and communication skills.
- Relevant experience in food industry, ideally in added value Poultry and/or Coatings.
- Comfortable when working with commercial and NPD/technical teams.
- A recognised qualification in a food science or management discipline with 5 years + work experience.
- Positive personality.
- Flexible and ambitious.
- Numerate – with good Excel skills.
- Excellent Polish and English.
- Clean driving licence.
