Your new company
For our Client, an internationally recognized software company we are looking for Test Manager.
Your new role
As a Test Manager you will be leading a team of QA Engineers across projects, coordinate of test efforts across locations and contribute in designing and implementation of the Quality Strategy. Additionally, you will be responsible for synchronization with management across locations, writing clear, concise and comprehensive test concepts and test plans and defining test objectives, coordinating writing and executing test cases and test scenarios. Moreover, your duties will include documentation of identified defects and reporting its work to supervisors, cooperating with developers and business analysts to resolve any product issue, mentoring and coaching less experienced team members, setting up and maintaining test environments and track and report on software quality trends during software release cycles.
What you'll need to succeed
To be an ideal candidate you need to have at least 5 years of experience in QA area and minimum 1 year of experience as a Test Leader or Manager. We expect candidates to have knowledge of software testing concepts including: regression, unit, integration, load, white box, black box, positive, negative, mocking, boundary testing, scalability, traceability etc, knowledge of software development life cycle and software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, XP, Kanban, Waterfall). Relevant candidate should have an ability to solve problems with strong analytical skills and attention to details and willingness to take responsibility for the team and deliverables to customer. Additionally, good candidate needs to have knowledge of tools like: HP QC, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, GIT and be able to function in international environment – very good English is required. Moreover, we search for candidates with solid technical background – higher education is also required – at least Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
