- Analysis and testing of client's Financial Reporting systems
- Communications with developers, testers and customer
- Develop and control plans for System Integration Testing phase
- QA team activivites planning
- Analyzing functional requirements, test cases and test results from accounting viewpoint, raising issues and risks found, managing them proactively
- Reporting to the customer
- Test Management experience (QA Test Manager, QA Team Leader, Project Manager)
- Two or more years of experience in the financial services industry on a position requiring good knowledge of GAAP/IFRS
- Accounting experience within multinational corporations, e.g., PwC or other auditing companies in IFRS reporting is highly appreciated
- Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills are a must
- Strong oral and written English
- Analytical and detail-oriented mind
- Perfect communication and reporting skills
Not required, but advantageous skills and experience:
- Big 4 experience
- Knowledge of investment banking
- Experience with Financials Analysis process
- Technical background, e.g., programming experience, Oracle database administering skills, Bash shell scripts creation etc
The main project goals: finance date formats standardization; data quality validation, data enrichment and data adjustment.
Business aims: Risks calculation and regulatory reporting in a fastest way.
Technical details:
Seamless integration in existing corporate landscape. Project was deployed within existing R&F reporting processes without breaking business continuity.
M/R data processing as a service. Introduction of service pattern enabled for greater code reuse and, in general, lower development time and better maintainability.
Metadata-driven, use-case based orchestration. Project ETL workflows are not hardcoded but rather based on business-defined configuration and metadata.
