Responsibilities
- Implementing game play functionality with a game designer
- Implementing and iterating on the user experience with a graphic designer
- Work closely with content designers and additional team members to author, refine and improve the tools, workflow and usability
- Help determine best practices for data formatting to optimize load times and data stability
- Provide accurate estimates for tasks per sprint and deliver on schedule
- Advise other engineers on the best ways to solve problems and implement art and design facing features using Unity and the Unity Editor
- Collaborate and communicate closely with production, art and design in an agile, small team environment
Requirements
- Are a self-reliant hacker that can quickly adopt to new systems and languages
- Are a strong communicator with excellent problem solving skills
- Have a passion for great mobile games, but a good balance of interests and skills in other areas as well
- Experience with JSON and/or XML data formats
- Experience with Unity UI tools and Unity 5 is a plus
- Strong debugging skills
- Able to perform and adapt quickly in a creative, fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, proactive and engaged
